Poetry Cat is a Good Stuff website.

Poetry Cat came about when I was searching for the text to a few poems. All the websites I could find which had classic poems on them seemed to be very unpleasant to use - pop-ups, intrusive adverts, hard-to-read text, etc. So I decided to create my own classic poetry website which is much nicer to use. This site doesn't have (and will never have) pop-ups, and the only adverts are relatively non-intrusive ones at the edges of the page.

Geeky Stuff

For those that care about such things, this site is built on an open source platform using Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL and runs entirely on recycled electrons. The underlying design is based on a lightweight object-oriented codebase utilising Savant3 as a templating framework.
